Live-Edge Coffee Table
A walnut slab on hairpin legs. Mostly a lesson in flattening and filling cracks.
The slab was flattened with a router sled, the bark-inclusion cracks filled with tinted epoxy and the whole thing finished in hardwax oil.
What I’d do differently
Sharpen more often, measure twice, and leave the finish until the next morning instead of rushing it at midnight.
